Patrick Mercier is a managing director with Fifth Third Wealth Advisors, serving clients in the Pittsburgh region. He provides comprehensive wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals and families, foundations, endowments, and institutional clients. He has extensive experience in portfolio design, asset allocation, and fixed income strategies and works with clients using a coordinated, client-focused approach to deliver expert guidance, experienced money management, and personalized service — all backed by access to the resources of Fifth Third Bank. Patrick joined Fifth Third Wealth Advisors in 2024. Previously, he was a senior client strategist with BNY Mellon Wealth Management. Patrick is also an accomplished entrepreneur and was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2000 by Ernst & Young. Over the last four decades, he has successfully managed and grown companies, even earning recognition as the CEO of one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S. In addition, he has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has been involved in the sales/purchases of more than 100 companies. He supports his local community through volunteer efforts with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Woodlands Foundation, and Light of Life Rescue Mission.
